It's the FUR-ST of the month! Here's the latest with Dorchester Paws!

May was RECORD BREAKING, as we had our HIGHEST intake month in HISTORY! We had 430 animals admitted in just ONE month!

To help spread the word we are having a Bow-Wow Meow Luau! All adult animals are just $30 to adopt and kittens are 1/2 price! So Hula your way down to Dorchester Paws and add a new furry friend to your ohana!

Dorchester Paws has kittens and puppies in need of a place to grow and explore. If you have room in your heart and home please email: foster@dorchesterpaws.org.

Need more reasons to foster?

–Fostering increases an animal’s chance of getting adopted. Foster families help us learn more about the pet’s personality so we can make sure to place them in the right home!

– Animals, both your own and the foster, will learn more social skills. Your pet might even find a playmate!

– Fostering is temporary and can help you see if you are ready to own another pet. All of our animals are eligible for our foster to adopt trial program!

–You are saving a life. You feel good, Dorchester Paws gets to help more animals, and your foster pet is happy, healthy, and well socialized. Talk about a win-win-win.

With this many admissions we need volunteers! This Sunday we are having our monthly volunteer orientation from 2-3pm at Dorchester Paws. Volunteer orientation will include a general overview of our shelter and volunteer program, as well as a campus tour!

Activities include:
