SUMMERVILLE’S FIRST CAT CAFÉ FEATURING DORCHESTER PAWS ADOPTABLES

It’s here! Summerville’s first Cat Café featuring our very own, Dorchester Paws adoptable cats!
Mews + Brews is opening tomorrow Friday, January 6th! This cat café will have a bar to order pre-packaged food items and drinks. The public can hang in the “Cat Lounge” where they can meet all of the adoptables after they make a reservation to go.
“Dorchester Paws could not be more excited for our exclusive partnership with Mews + Brews Cat Café” says April Howard, Director of Operations at Dorchester Paws. “It’s such a beautiful opportunity for the cats we take into our care that have been used to living in a home or our shyer cats to have a place to go to that gives them a chance to relax and show their true personalities to adopters. Mews + Brews Cat Cafe and their team go above and beyond to care for the cats that we bring to them and we are thrilled to extend our life saving mission further into the community.”
This café allows those who can’t own a cat, to hang out with a cat. It also helps the animals to come out of their shell.
“We are so excited to open our doors to Summerville,” says Cait Cox Owner of Mews + Crews Cat Café. “I’ve been working on this cafe concept for over a year and it’s incredible to see it all come together. We are partnered with our local shelter, Dorchester Paws, to foster the adoptable cats in our cat lounge who are looking for their fur-ever families. Fostering the cats in our cafe is a great way to give them a comfy home while they wait for their fur-ever families. Dorchester Paws does amazing work in our community for all kinds of animals in need of a home, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it. Adoption Process:
Adoptable cats are $50. Adoptions can happen on the spot and the public can go home with the cat that same day! All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, vetted and are on a monthly preventative. All adoptions will come with access to insurance for the first 30 days, a free health exam waiver and a World’s Best Cat Litter Adoption Kit.

$11 for one hour of kitty snuggles and a complimentary beverage, and reservations are highly recommended, especially on the weekends.
