What is Giving Tuesday?
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the power of individuals, groups and organizations to encourage philanthropy and celebrate generosity worldwide.
When is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year, it falls on November 27.
How can I get involved on Giving Tuesday?
This November 27, join the movement and #GivetothePaws – whether it’s some of your time, a donation or the power of your voice in the your community spreading the word about Dorchester Paws.
Your donation to Dorchester Paws on #GivingTuesday would go towards animal care including spay/neuter, heartworm prevention & treatment, vaccines, microchip, supplies and food.
It costs approximately $25 per day per animal to care for animals at Dorchester Paws while they wait for their forever homes.
I want to have a long-term impact on the animals! How can I do that on Giving Tuesday?
There are many ways you can make sure your gift on Giving Tuesday continues to make a difference for the animals at Dorchester Paws. Become a Foster Hero and help provide a second chance for animals in need! Start volunteering and see the daily effect you have on the animals. Join our Community of Hope and become one of our monthly Paw Pals donors. Your monthly donation ensures Dorchester Paws will be able to continuously provide care for the thousands of animals who come through our doors each year.
This #GivingTuesday, support your community animal shelter when you #GivetothePaws!
