Undoubtedly, it has not been an easy year. 2022 has come with more challenges that our outdated shelter should face. The world has changed, times are harder than ever for most and our position within the animal-welfare industry proves to have a greater need than ever before.
Dorchester Paws relies on the generous financial support of our community to provide life-saving medical attention, shelter and care for 4,000 animals a year. Founded in 1972, Dorchester Paws is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of dogs & cats that are lost, abandoned, neglected or abused.
Dorchester Paws is NOT a county owned facility. Dorchester County government provides 25% of funding to our annual operating budget. We rely on donations to make up the other 75% of our budget.
Your generous donations are the reason we do what we do.
We receive your donation upfront, but you can pay over 3, 6 or 9 months.
